Having lived my whole life in Lynbrook, and working in the real estate business for almost 20 years, I have had the pleasure of meeting with and speaking with hundreds if not thousands of residents, former residents, and non-residents who absolutely love Lynbrook.
It is a unique village with a big heart, and anyone who has ever had anything to do with Lynbrook always have something fond to say about our precious community. Even with the high cost of living, and congestion, many other issues that confront the village like so many other villages on the Island, and across America, folks still have so many nice things to say about Lynbrook.
So it seems to me that we should try to create a way to bring all of these feelings and comments together in one place so that it can be documented for future generations about the place that so many of us have grown to love, and that is why I decided to create this blog. I invite you to share your feelings about Lynbrook so that this love story can be told not by the historians, but by the people who truly know and love Lynbrook.
